We sought out a few security companies to assist us and we agreed upon Umbrella. The start to finish for installation with Art and Jeff was pretty seamless from beginning to end. I had a technical error in which Zach promptly came out and remedied the situation in no time. Our staff feels very safe and thank you for taking care of us. Highly recommend them!

Umbrella Security Team did a great job for my company. They secured a 14,000 sq ft Building with no Power, with Solar Power burglar sensors, and fire alarm sensors. This covered me for insurance needs, in a rough time. Tom and his Team came through, and his excellent service and products I highly recommend in the commercial field!

We have been beyond thrilled with Umbrella Security Systems. I'd rate them higher than 5 stars if I could. We're a 40,000 sq. ft. weightlifting gym in the East Lakeview area of Chicago, spanning 3 floors. When they came out to see the place, they really listened to what we were looking for, and recommended a combo of fish-eye cameras and fixed ones in key areas throughout our gym. We ended up getting a total of 9 cameras! It's honestly been a game-changer for us. I can't imagine not having the ability we have now, to see throughout our gym, from wherever we are, through their app. What I love too is how accessible the team is. We had an incident a while back - that thankfully turned out to be a false alarm - but I called Umbrella and they came out right away to help. They showed us how to roll the footage back and save it into a clip, which we've since been able to do when we've needed to examine more closely what took place on a specific day & time. We're actually adding 3 more cameras soon, which is what they recommended initially but I wanted to go slow (and they were not pushy w/me which I greatly appreciate). This was an enormous step & quite an investment but I am so glad we did it. They are well worth the $.

I work for a nonprofit organization and we have an older Keyscan access control system that almost no one was willing to service. Finding Umbrella Security Systems has truly been a lifesaver for us.
Their technician Zach has been out to our site several times and he is outstanding. Hes extremely knowledgeable, honest, and fast most issues are diagnosed and fixed in under 30 minutes. He could easily have charged us more for some of the problems weve had, but instead hes always upfront and fair.
Even when Ive reached out at the last minute with a potential emergency, their scheduling team has always found a way to fit us in. The level of honesty, responsiveness, and professionalism from Zach and the whole Umbrella team has been excellent.
Highly recommend them.

We had OpenPath installed about a year ago. Umbrella Technologies has provided nothing but great customer service. Operates with integrity, phenomenal product & support. Tom and his team did a terrific job on a very difficult project for us. Our 100-year+ old building does not make IT projects easy, but the Umbrella team was able to succeed where others failed. When another IT partner was falling well below our expectations on getting cables ran for the new camera system Umbrella Tech was set to install, Tom offered his counsel and eventually stepped up to offer his team take over the nightmare-ish cabling work. Zach & Hugo were on top of the project from start to finish. They were on time, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, organized, and efficient. Where the other IT team needed things constantly repeated and wasted our time, Umbrella was fire-and-forget.
Overall, I could not recommend them more. I am very happy with the work they completed and I will be looking forward to more opportunities to work with them.
