read moreUniquities is a locally owned women's fashion boutique started in 1992 by entrepreneur Julie Jennings. I sold books door to door when I was in college and was able to save enough money to travel around the world for a year with a backpack and a camera. When I returned to the US, I started my first business designing and importing accessories from Turkey. After a fire destroyed our warehouse and simply wanting to see more of the country, I moved south to Chapel Hill, NC. It was in 1992 that I started Uniquities.
