The United Martial Arts Center opened it's doors in 1999 with one purpose in mind to supply it's students, from 4-74, with the absolute finest martial arts education possible. UMAC's founder, John Ingallina, has brought together the area's top martial arts educators to supply a facility that is 2nd to none. The quality of the UMAC's students is measured many ways. They stand out in the classroom, in their communities and in their capability to know how to protect themselves should the need arise. UMAC's 2nd center opened in Victor in 2007 and we're thrilled to have the possibility to supply the same quality programs to this region.

Juniors Karate Program
read moreKarate is the art of self-defense from a standing position. However, here at UMAC, our students also merge their karate studies with a variety of jiu-jitsu skills, giving them a well-rounded martial arts education. In juniors-age karate, students work on mastering self-discipline, honing technique, and growing into leaders as they are rewarded for showing compassion and putting in hard work. Students gain confidence in their abilities through practice, leading kata, new friendships, and through setting and attaining new goals.
Private Jiu-Jitsu Lessons
read moreWhile Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Victor is well known for the quality of its group classes, some people prefer to start or complement their training with private lessons. Private classes enable the instructor to teach the lessons in the order that will optimize learning and to adapt techniques to suit an individual's strengths and weaknesses. Each private lesson begins with a review of previously learned techniques, followed by the introduction of 2-3 new techniques. Once you fully understand the new techniques, the instructor will show you how to combine them with previously learned techniques in a series of Reflex Development Drills.
