Specialty Hospitals of America took ownership of and started managing UMC on Nov. 7, 2007. Since then, the new leadership team, our medical team, and our nurses, clinical and support team have made major improvements in our quality of care, client service, patient safety and campus security. We currently have replaced most patient care diagnostic, monitoring and therapeutic equipment, and we currently have upgraded most hospital physical plant systems. Over 75 physicians have joined our medical team and morale among our employees and medical team is very positive. We're optimistic about our future.
