Business Enterprises is a department of UpLIFTD specializing in Lawn Maintenance, and Janitorial work for individuals with disabilities. Our crews service many federal, state, and private businesses in Baton Rouge, Alexandria, and New Orleans. The lawn crews supply a huge array of services such as bed preparation, mowing, edging, and fertilization.

UpLIFTD was made possible through a state/federal grant by Louisiana Rehabilitation Services, (LRS).

UpLIFTD provides services to individuals with a wide range of disabilities, adopting a person-centered approach to developing their unique goals and plans. Services provided include job readiness & placement, supported employment, time-limited job coaching and pre-employment transition services. UpLIFTD currently has 3 supported employment certified vocational specialists and 2 certified rehabilitation counselors on staff.
