Upper South Studio was began in 1979 as an experiment in art and commerce. The concept was to set up a production firm and publishing house for Laurence Rosen's own work. Eventually, it grew and evolved to become devoted to serving a global clientele in the hospitality, gaming, and travel industries. That growth has been primarily managed by Susan Rosen, co-founder and principal, who continues to oversee the ongoing evolution of Upper South.
