Vallejo Gem & mineral society was established 8 Oct 1954 by rock hounds interested in sharing their knowledge of rocks and minerals, geology and other kinds of rock hounding and collecting with others. This Knowledge includes identification, gem and mineral collecting, cutting and polishing. We're a nonprofit organization still committed to sharing our experience and talents. Including silver casting (lost wax) wire wrapping and other jewelry making and lapidary skills.
