Delicatessens in Nashville, TN
The Vandy Delicatessen, better known as the Vandy Deli, was set up in 1989 by Libby Campbell, and has been in continuous operation ever since. Libby had a vision to supply Vanderbilt employees and visitors to the Vanderbilt Medical Center with an on campus location where you could get Good Food and Good Service at a Good Price. The Vandy Deli is a tiny deli that inc. is committed primarily to take-out only lunch orders, since there are only 5 counter seats in the deli.

Vandy Deli Guestbook
read moreAbsolutely love everything I have had here! Two favorites are Poppyseed Chicken on Wednesdays and Chicken and Rice soup on Thursdays! Staff is always so friendly and kind even when it is standing room only, which is usually most days because of the exceptional quality and taste! I sure do miss Libby and the deli. It would be worth getting a job back at Vanderbilt just to be able to see the old gang and have a cup of chicken salad! Miss you Libby. When I had surgery, Libby brought me several dishes to help with our meals.
