Our old garage door opener finally called it quits after 16 years. Called VGDR in Cypress late in the day and they were there the next day. Good communication during the call--everything was explained fully. The tech spent an hour trying to get the old one to work--no pressure to replace it. I appreciated that. Turns out the cost of repair was over half the cost of a new one--we went with the new one.
After it was in he spent quite a bit of time trying to get the old remotes to work with the new system--no joy but it was great to see the effort he put in With my Veteran's Discount, the cost was half of what we thought it would be. Also liked the follow-up call from the company to check on the repair and see if we had any questions. All in all, a class act. They are now on our list of home repair providers

Same day called for service they came out gave me estimate for repairs and replacing the door. The door was replaced the following day. The installer was early and very nice and fast quality work. Definitely are good service company for garage door repair or replacement.

These folks had me scheduled for the very day after I called. They then texted me asking if I wanted an earlier appt that had opened up, which I did. TJ arrived on time and prepared. He is a good communicator and clearly explained the details in an estimate that he prepared in the first few minutes. It was a pleasure to work with Veteran Garage Door Repair and I'll contact them again, once I've cleared the opposite side of my garage so they may duplicate the improvements on that door!

Veteran Garage Door Repair has always done a fantastic job. They have done repairs to the door and recently installed a new garage door opener for both me and my parents. Called them to get my garage door fixed as soon as possible. They were able to schedule it the next day, and even got to do it even earlier because they put me on a waiting list. What can I say need the garage door fixed over the weekend. They came out on a Sunday provided us an estimate and completed the needed repairs in a very timely manner. Great customer service and would highly recommend if your in need of service.

The technician was 2 hours early to our appointment. He called and asked prior to showing up if it was ok to come early. I was given a price. Once we agreed he went right to work and fixed our door. I had a list of all the work done and a receipt prior to him leaving our house. I then received a follow up call checking how the service was. Great company!

This company has to be the best. It takes a lot to impress me and Veteran Garage Door Repair went above and beyond. We had a pretty bad garage door failure last night. Looked to me like it was damaged pretty bad so I was expecting the worst. I called Veteran this morning and they had a technician out here within a couple of hours - he arrived early! Jordan was great.
He quickly diagnosed the issue, gave me a price that seemed very reasonable and said he had the parts on the truck and it wouldn't take long. He was done in an hour or so and our garage door is better (and much quieter) than it was previously. A rep from the company called within minutes of him leaving and asked me how everything went. This is the type of customer service you just don't see anymore. Veteran Garage Door Repair has restored my faith in humanity! Give them a call and have them come out to do your new garage door or repair. You won't be disappointed!

I just got home from a motorcycle ride sitting in the house cooling off and heard this loud boom noise! Looked in the garage and seen the spring on the garage door broke in half. Called 3 different company's getting prices and when they could come and do the repair. Veterans Garage Door company came to the rescue gave me one of the best prices, and I had a Technician at my house in 45 minutes.
The man they sent out was excellent and definitely knew what he was doing. He had it repaired in like 20 minutes. And gave me some pointers/ maintenance I needed to do on the door that I could do myself. Great company I will definitely use them in the future. Thanks Trent G.

Just has a service call this morning from this company and it was excellent. I had work done on my garage door 2 months ago by a different company to the tune of $2K and I felt like I got ripped off. VGD comes out for free and provides a free estimate. The tech, Jesse, immediately found 2 issues and my quote to fix them was extremely reasonable. I will be a lifelong customer because I can trust VGD.

Great service! They set a next day appointment when I called and the technician arrived right on time. He was able to immediately spot the issues and adjusted the door put on some new rollers that are a lot quieter and put on a new keypad outside. The whole fix took only about an hour. I definitely would recommend them.

Ulysses was fantastic! He did a wonderful job, was attentive to detail, and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied! This a is a 2 car wooden garage door, kind of a pain to work on! Heavy! Replaced 4 springs and adjusted hinges and lubricated system to ensure optimal performance. Highly satisfied and recommend to others.
