Via Sicilia

The 3-month-old restaurant in the new Long's shopping center at Melrose and Breeze Hill drives is decorated to look like a quaint island streetscape, with a cobblestone floor, old-fashioned street lamps, faux shop windows with awnings and a ceiling painted to look like a starless night sky. The restaurant's 80-seat interior re-creates the magical dining experience Via Sicilia's owners had at a tiny family restaurant in Sicily five years ago, and the restaurant's menu is drawn from the owners' century-old Sicilian family recipes.
