Victory Dental

Dentist in Boise, ID
Dentist in Boise, ID Currently only a small percentage of dentists have discovered the extreme benefits of using a high-powered microscope. Dr. Ripplinger first started using a high powered scope to perform detailed work in 2007. Using a microscope, the level of precision achieved is greatly increased. A rough spot that is not visible to the naked eye, suddenly becomes clear, giving the patient a more comfortable and natural feel to their filling or prosthetic. The thoroughness when performing root canals can not be matched. Small pockets of infection which otherwise would go unnoticed, suddenly become visible, avoiding problems that may occur in the future.

The microscope is also hooked to a video camera allowing the patient to view or even record the procedure. Dr. Ripplinger believes this piece of equipment will revolutionize dentistry and will be the standard of care for the future.

Cerec One Visit Crowns

Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramic (CEREC) has revolutionized dental procedures. Traditionally, if crowns, onlays, inlays or veneers were required to restore damaged teeth, multiple procedures and a great deal of waiting time in-between would be inevitable.CEREC creates these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. This means that many treatments can be completed in just a single visit, saving the patient time and money.

Lounge Area

For Children: We understand that it is sometimes necessary for you to bring children with you to your appointment. We also know how stressful it can be to try to entertain those children while in the chair. That is why we have a special treatment room adjacent to our childrens area where your children can play games, color and watch movies while still playing within hearing range.

For Adults: For parents bringing their younger children we want you to make the most of your time at our office. That is why we have equipped a special waiting room with internet and a selection of movies.

Patient Comfort and Anxiety Reduction

Our staff will do whatever they can to reduce anxiety and allay fears, from providing a warm cozy blanket, to turning on a favorite movie right in the chair. We take the time to carefully explain each procedure so you know what to expect. We also offer general conscious sedation dentistry and nitrous oxide if desired.

Early Appointments Available

We know it can be difficult to miss work to complete your dental work. We open at 7:00AM Mondays and Wednesdays and every other Friday to allow our patients the opportunity to complete their procedure before work.

Discounts

We offer a 5% of for senior citizens and another 5% off for those fully financing their own dental care on the date of service.

General Dentistry
read moreA preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions.

Preventing disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet. It is continued in the dental office by the efforts of your dentist and dental hygienist to promote, restore, and maintain your oral health. Prevention also includes regular exams, cleanings, and x-rays. Sealants and fluoride are also great preventive treatments that help protect the teeth.

Prevention helps avoid serious and costly problems and is the key to having a healthy, confident, beautiful smile.

About Us
read moreTooth contouring is often a quick, simple, painless and inexpensive way to shape your teeth to achieve that perfect smile. When combined with tooth bonding, it can minimize and often completely remove imperfections. Your dentist will need to take x-rays and perform a dental exam prior to teeth contouring to ensure the tooth root structure is as expected and there are no cracks or decay in the teeth that went unnoticed. Generally anesthesia is not necessary with teeth contouring. The tooth is gradually ground down using air abrasion to shape the tooth or remove the minor imperfection.
Conscious Sedation
read moreA significant number of Americans do not visit the dentist for regular checkups because they have a fear of the dentist or suffer from dental anxiety. Sedation dentistry offers an excellent way to provide a safe, anxiety-free, dental experience to those who are afraid of the dentist. Sedation dentistry is often mistakenly thought to induce sleep. In fact, most sedatives allow the patient to stay awake during the procedure. Sleepiness is a side effect of some medications, but nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation and IV sedation only work to calm anxiety throughout the dental visit.
Crowns
read moreA crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size. A crown protects and strengthens tooth structure that cannot be restored with fillings or other types of restorations. Although there are several types of crowns, porcelain (tooth colored crown) are the most popular. They are highly durable and will last many years, but like most dental restorations, they may eventually need to be replaced. Porcelain crowns are made to match the shape, size, and color or your teeth giving you a natural, long-lasting beautiful smile.
