Vitran Express would like to say that we'll increase our base rate tariff effective January 4, 2010. This increase is due in part to a pressing need to maintain our service against a backdrop of increasing costs. Each year the needs and expectations of our clients grow, while our operating expenses and insurancecosts continue to rise. Our increase will be 5. 9% and will be applicable on our LTL rates for those clients that utilize the VITR 500 base rate tariffs.
