The story of Wallauer's starts way back in 1921. A young entrepreneur named Clarence R. Wallauer opened a paint and wallpaper store. Through the years the business thrived. After suffering a stroke, Clarence recruited his son-in-law Bob Duncan, Sr. To take over the reins. Under Bob Duncan, Sr. The business continued to expand and an additional five stores were opened. Bob Duncan, Sr. Took extraordinary care to make sure that his son, Bob Duncan, Jr. Would inherit the firm with intimate experience of the business.
