Welcome Every Baby

After the success of our Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign, WEB and First 5 Santa Barbara County are launching an important new parent education effort focusing on a growing problem in North County; the increasing use of alcohol and street drugs by young pregnant women. Like our Breastfeeding radio campaign, our new radio spots will feature Dr. Robert McGhie, a longtime Santa Maria OB-GYN. It was Dr. McGhie who raised this vital issue to First 5 Santa Barbara County after hearing too many of his patients admit to drinking or using drugs during their pregnancy.
