It can be a little difficult finding photos from the early days of Western Associates. If I had known it was going to be this successful, I would have taken more pictures, former owner Marian Crofoot says. In fact, though 2006 is claimed as its 50th anniversary, the Marion, Kansas firm has been around a little longer than that, Crofoot says. By anyone's standards, Western Associates is a large success. In the past 50 years it has evolved into a multi-million dollar advertising specialty business, among the top two percent of all such businesses through the nation.
