No visit to San Francisco would be complete without a trip to world-famous Fisherman's Wharf. The area runs along the northwestern waterfront from Van Ness Avenue to roughly Pier 35, and originally served as San Francisco's main fishing pier. Although some fishing still continues here today, the Wharf is primarily known for its superb dining, fun attractions, and easy access to many of the city's main sightseeing destinations. Fisherman's Wharf appeals to people of all ages.
