Wife Saver

We were kid-friendly before it was cool, smiles Chris Cunningham, president of Augusta-based Wife Saver Restaurants. My father believed in creating a wholesome family dining environment when he began this firm, and we still believe in his ideals. George Cunningham opened the 1st Wife Saver Restaurant on Augusta's Milledgeville Road in 1965. All eight present-day Wife Saver restaurants, in both Georgia and South Carolina, feature a Kids Korner menu and do not serve alcoholic beverages.
