In 1974 Tommy was hired out of Louisiana Tech by an oil and gas firm and he subsequently held various positions in Human Resources both domestically and internationally. In 1986 he entered the investment advisory business and worked with a group of partners until 1997. At that point he desired to build a client centered, high touch service-oriented firm which was the birth of Williams Financial Advisors. Sharon Harmon was hired in 1999 and has been the key to our high degree of organizational strength for over 20 years.

He has extensive knowledge of many investment strategies and the ability to determine which appropriately fits his client's specific situation. In 2013 and 2014 while at Capital One Financial Advisors he received the Summit Award which recognizes outstanding sales and client service and he served in various capacities such as the Premier Advisory Panel and Products Selection Committee.
