California Soccer League originated in 1988 in the Inner City of San Diego. As a San Diego City employee I worked with the Parks and Recreation Department as a Recreation Leader, where my job assignment was to keep the children active and out of trouble. Working in a low income area some parents just dropped off their children at the park at 7am and would not picked them up till 6 or 8pm. The Community and Colina del Sol Recreation Center were financially limited as this reflected with drugs and gang activity in the neighborhood.

We will place you on a team that is at the level of play that you are comfortable with. Also we have multiple divisions that play on multiple days so we will pick a day that works for your schedule. You can either sign up online, the office or at the field. Our hours of operation are 10:30 am - 4.:30pm Mon - Fri. How many weeks before all my players need id cards? There is a grace period of three weeks before the cards are mandatory. After two weeks without a card you can not play. Are there refunds? There are no refunds a week prior to the season.
