John and Melissa Lynch 1st established the parent firm, 1-800WineShop, 10 years ago with a desire to turn their passion for the wine country into a way of life. Living in the Bay Area just outside of the famous Napa and Sonoma wine regions, their frequent trips with family and friends to the wine country led them to discover many wonderful family-owned wineries. They 1st began providing these limited-production wines through phone and catalog orders. Soon their client base and reputation grew, and by the year 2000 they had a loyal client base of thousands nationwide.
