Five men established the Yonkers Yacht Club in 1882. The club was originally situated on Fair Street in Yonkers. In 1945 the club was moved to its present location. Situated on the pretty Hudson River at 1203 Warburton Avenue, the club still thrives as a yacht club. Yonkers Yacht Club is a private club that has been in existence for over 100 years. The club is for people who enjoy the water and enjoy the social atmosphere that is part of the club. The club has a marina with over 30 available slips for boats. Kayaks and jet skis are welcome.
