In 1991, he left the live band scene and formed You Are the Star, a complete-service Disc Jockey and Karaoke Company. In the mid-90s, Tad owned five separate music systems, operated by 9 Disc Jockeys, who performed up to 20 shows a week. Currently, he specializes in Children's entertaining, which now comprises 95% of the business. Since its inception, You Are the Star DJs have performed over 5, 000 engagements, with over 3, 500 by Tad himself. Without a doubt, Tad Travis has created a very entertaining formula that has proven to be successful, in demand, and unmatched by the competition!
