Opened in March of 1982 by Paul Saginaw and Ari Weinzweig in an historic building near the Ann Arbor Farmers? Market, the Deli got its begin with a tiny range of great-tasting specialty foods, a host of traditional Jewish dishes and a relatively short sandwich menu. Today, Zingerman's Delicatessen is an Ann Arbor institution, the source of great food and great experiences for 1000's of visitors every year. The Deli serves up 1000's of made-to-order sandwiches with ingredients like premium Black Angus corned beef and pastrami, free-selection chicken and turkey.

read moreAs you may have already heard, the State of Michigan has ordered all restaurants and bars to temporarily close dine-in service for three weeks, starting Wednesday. We take the health and safety of our staff and guests very seriously, and so effective immediately, we have closed indoor dining in the Deli and the Next Door Cafe buildings. Events at our downtown event space, Zingerman's Greyline, are also not currently allowed. Thank you for all your continued love and support during these unprecedented and challenging times!

For nearly 30 years now our emphasis on education, flavor, tradition, and the integrity of ingredients has helped create a living culinary laboratory where customers can experience everything from corned beef and noodle kugel to estate-bottled Tuscan olive oil to terrific grits from South Carolina. We sell tons of brisket, thousands of hand-shaped traditionally made, Bakehouse bagels, and many thousands of Magic Brownies every year.

Tossed in our own Greek dressing. Barrel-aged marinated Greek feta, Kalamata olives, juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, & a sprinkling of oregano on a bed of custom-blended greens. Custom-blended greens, carrots, applewood-smoked bacon and Amish chicken tossed with our Cobb dressing, topped with a hard-boiled egg, crumbled blue cheese & slices of fresh avocado.
