Who We Are
read moreChildren First, Inc. was organized as Family Outreach in 1977, a volunteer organization that performed case management for the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. As Family Outreach, we received our 501(c)(3) in 1978. By 1985, our mission evolved from volunteer-based case management to professional counseling and therapy services for victims of abuse. Therefore, we separated from the state and incorporated under the new name of Children First, in order to better represent our new focus and services.
