In 1981, Carole Winer realized her dream of opening a store specializing in eighteenth and nineteenth century French antiques in the charming town of Washington Depot, Connecticut. Three years later, Ms. Winer acquired the renowned Samuel Bull Homestead in Woodbury, the prized antique center of Connecticut, and Country Loft Antiques soon became a destination for clients from across the globe in search of the very highest in authentic French Country antiques.
