Members enjoy the luxury of playing on two signature golf courses designed by architect Donald Ross, the legend behind many of North America's premier courses.

With our well-equipped fitness center onsite, Members can burn calories on the treadmill or build a little muscle with the weight machines. Our fitness center has a very private, personal feel and we strive to make all Members feel welcome. The Club offers a variety of cardiovascular training equipment as well as resistance training machines and free weights. Golfers can enjoy private instruction or take part in small group TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) sessions.

read moreOur family-friendly aquatics center is the one place you don't mind taking that extra stroke. Detroit Golf Club designed our pool area with your family in mind. We have a full-sized pool complete with diving area for the big "kids" and a toddler wading pool for your little ones. With lifeguards on duty, your main care will be whether to work on your tan or your backstroke. Detroit Golf Club offers several programs in connection to the pool. If you or your children are just starting out, we have private swim lessons available.

The Foundation, established by famed Chicago golfer Chick Evans, has provided college educations to more than 8,600 caddies while making tuition scholarship payments totaling more than $100 million. More than 800 caddies annually attend college on Evans Scholarships. Most Evans Scholars attend one of the 14 universities where the Foundation owns and operates a Scholarship House. The scholarships are funded through contributions from more than 100,000 golfers, including 37,000 WGA Par Club members.

read moreOur opening hole on the north course generally plays into the prevailing wind. Three strategically placed fairway bunkers make teeshot placement a premium allowing the player a short iron into a well guarded and undulating green. Long hitters will have a go at it in hopes of reaching this green in two on this long, narrow par five. Players not able to reach the greenin two will need to avoid a left hand side cross bunker inside 100 yards. This uphill holes plays slightly longer than the yardage.

The mission of the Detroit Golf Club Caddie Scholarship Foundation is to help our caddies to achieve their higher educational dreams. The Detroit Golf Club Caddie Scholarship Foundation specifically benefits caddies of Detroit Golf Club. The scholarship is available whether the caddies choose higher education in Michigan, out of state, attend community college or a trade school.

read moreDetroit Golf Club gives you the opportunity to play both sports in an exclusive, members-only setting. Whether it's on the course or the courts, swing away and enjoy yourself. Our three (3) brand new tennis courts are home to a variety of games throughout the season. Singles, doubles, mixed doubles, play with friends or take part in numerous tournaments. The more members we have to participate, the more fun there will be for the entire family. We have clinics available to help Members improve their skills, as well as a special children's program aimed at ages 4 and up.
