The Motor City Tennis Club (MCTC) a 501(c)4) non-profit organization, was set up in 1929 when a group of Detroiters founded a social tennis club. Since then, it has grown into a complete-fledged, competitive outdoor tennis organization. Over the years, MCTC has used tennis as a vehicle to encourage family unity and hence, to nurture family values. The aim of the club now is to expand its goal to supply a complete, year-round tennis program that will encompass these values.
