Southwestern, PA (SOUTH WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA - 326 bed facility situated in S central Pennsylvania. 12 MDAs and 19 CRNAs - varied ages from just out of school through retirement age. Hospital would like to hire two additional CRNAs. 10, 000 cases per year Facility does everything except transplants. Very rare trauma. MDAs do hearts and OB epidurals. Practice is supervised with some docs allowing more autonomy than others. CRNAs rarely do epis.
