Tidal Creek Co-Op

Tidal Creek started like many other food co-ops back in the 70s, with a little bit of cooperation and a good deal of idealism. A tiny group of individuals with a desire to eat healthfully came together as a buying club in order to earn access to products that were not otherwise available in the then tiny town of Wilmington, North Carolina. Placing orders with Tree of Life and dividing up bulk amounts of whole grains, beans, rice, and other dry goods, they doggedly pursued natural food lifestyles and worked hard for their wholesale- priced groceries.
