The Hope Scholarship Fund is both cheerful and proud to say that 10, 000 Degrees (formerly the Marin Education Fund) has agreed to partner with us in our efforts to help VHS students. In 2009, the then MEF sponsored 447 scholarships worth $1. 8 million. 83% of scholarship recipients graduate with degrees. 10, 000 Degrees brings a fully developed scholarship program that begins with its SAI (Summer Application Institute) This involves an on-campus dormitory experience at a college with rigorous explanation about going to college. Ninety-eight percent (98% of participants go to college.
