The board oversees the financial well-being of the school, sets policies and establishes broad management objectives to help support the head of the school and professional staff with the tools and resources needed to effectively pursue Westminster's mission. The board is devoted to nurturing the mission and culture of the school and believes one of its most important obligations is to ensure that a Westminster education is available for our children's children.

Below you'll find opportunities you and your family are welcome to investigate as projects you can volunteer with that will advance your child's knowledge of community issues they're learning about at school. Although listed by grade level, Westminster families are invited and encouraged to take part in any service learning extension listed below.

read moreThere is no minimum age for a child's name to be placed on the wait list. However, your inquiry date marks your child's place on the wait list. When admitting students, priority is given to children of faculty and staff and the siblings of current students. Once your child is on the wait list you will receive invitations to grade-appropriate open house events. In the year before your child enters Westminster, the director of admission will call to schedule a parent tour of the school. Completing this tour is a mandatory part of the admission process.

read moreWestminster School is committed to helping families afford an independent school education. Each year approximately 15% of our families receive some form of need-based financial assistance. Financial aid awards are based on the guidelines of the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), an organization associated with the National Association of Independent Schools. Aid is applied for and awarded annually. Early financial aid application is encouraged. The final decision regarding financial aid awards is made by the school's Financial Aid Committee.
