Swami Veda Bharati initiated Richard in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition. Richard is certified in the Walt Baptiste Method of Yoga for Self Realization, and has been teaching Yoga-meditiation since 1978. He has been initiated into the four steps of Kriya Yoga Meditation from the Self Realization Fellowship established by Swami Paramahansa Yogananda and was personally trained in authentic Yoga principles by Gurudev Walt Baptiste. He has studied and met with such notables as Sri Brahmananda Sarasvati, Dr. Jeffery Bland.
