Welcome to First Immanuel Lutheran Church
First Immanuel Lutheran Church has served San Jose for over a century, rooted in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod tradition. Our mission centers on proclaiming Christ's teachings through worship, education, and community outreach. We offer Sunday Divine Services, Sunday School, Adult Bible Study, and youth confirmation programs to foster spiritual growth. Our bilingual (English/Spanish) services and cultural events reflect our commitment to inclusivity. The Community Outreach Ministry Endeavor (C.O.M.E.) provides food and clothing assistance weekly, operating since 1980 and continuing despite challenges like the 2022 arson that destroyed our outreach building. We prioritize Matthew 25:35-40, serving physical and spiritual needs through volunteer-driven programs. With a focus on fellowship, we host music programs, small groups, and events like Quinceaeras to build community. Our team includes dedicated staff and volunteers who ensure uninterrupted service delivery. We welcome all to experience faith-centered community and purpose-driven service.
