Welcome to New Creation Lutheran Church
Founded in 1995, New Creation Lutheran Church has been a beacon of faith and community in South San Jose. Despite facing an arson fire just weeks after its charter, our congregation demonstrated resilience by rebuilding and rededicating our space in 1998 through member-led construction efforts. We offer a welcoming environment for individuals at all stages of their spiritual journey, blending contemporary worship with traditional elements while emphasizing inclusivity and social justice. Our ministries serve diverse age groups through educational programs, small groups, and outreach initiatives. With a focus on creation care and community engagement, we strive to embody Christ's teachings through action and service. Our history of perseverance and commitment to progressive Lutheran values continues to guide our mission today. We actively participate in regional ELCA initiatives while maintaining local partnerships to address community needs. Through weekly sermons, podcasts, and digital resources, we extend our ministry beyond physical walls to support spiritual growth. Our inclusive approach welcomes all backgrounds, fostering unity through shared faith experiences and compassionate outreach.
