Services
Worship Services
Zion offers two weekly worship services blending traditional and contemporary elements. The 9:00 AM service features organ hymns, while the 11:11 AM service includes modern Christian music with a live band. Both include Holy Communion and follow the same scripture readings and sermon. Services are livestreamed for broader accessibility.
Children's Ministry
Our Children's Ministry welcomes kids through age 6 with nursery care, interactive worship activities, and Sunday school classes. 'Kids carts' provide worship aids, and children participate in a special message during services. Programs emphasize foundational faith education in an inclusive environment.
Serve Together
Community service initiatives include altar guild, communion distribution, garden maintenance, and homeless outreach. Volunteers support local causes like the Faith & Food Garden partnership and foster children supply drives. Opportunities exist for all ages to engage in 'holy co-liberation' through action.
Adult Discipleship
Adult learning programs explore scripture, theology, and spiritual practices through book studies, discussion groups, and special events. Recent topics include 'John and the Book of Revelation' and 'Tuesdays with Pastor Greer,' fostering deeper biblical understanding and faith application.
Community Partners
Zion collaborates with local, national, and global organizations like Living Water Ministry and FedUp Ministries. Initiatives include scholarship programs for foster care alumni, seasonal homeless outreach, and international mission work, extending our commitment to social justice beyond the congregation.
