Welcome to Chestnut Grove Baptist Church
Chestnut Grove Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of the Athens community for over 143 years, dedicated to guiding individuals into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission centers on leading people to surrender to Jesus and grow in a committed relationship with Him through Bible-centered preaching, worship, and fellowship. We offer two in-person worship services every Sunday at 7:45 AM and 11:00 AM, with Sunday School classes available at 9:45 AM. For those unable to attend physically, we provide livestream access via YouTube, Facebook, and our website. Our strategic goals emphasize evangelism, worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry outreach, and administrative excellence. Rooted in prayer, biblical giving, and spiritual growth, we strive to serve both local and global communities through education, service initiatives, and intercessory prayer. Our office hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and we welcome visitors to explore our campus at 610 Epps Bridge Parkway.
