Your Home at St Marks Lutheran Church in Olathe, KS
St Marks Lutheran Church has been a cornerstone of faith in Olathe, Kansas since 1948. Founded by a group of Lutherans seeking to establish a community-centered congregation, we have grown alongside the city while maintaining our commitment to Christ-centered worship and service. Our history includes three physical locations, with our current facility built in 2011 to better serve northwest Olathe families. We offer traditional worship services at 10:00 AM Sundays, complemented by Sunday School for children at 9:00 AM. Our congregation actively engages in community outreach through initiatives like blood drives, food collections, and meal programs. With over 75 years of service, we continue to welcome all ages through worship, fellowship, and outreach guided by the Holy Spirit. Our mission remains clear: to be a Christ-centered family embracing all people while serving our church, community, and world. Pastor Kris, who has led our congregation for 17 years, oversees both spiritual guidance and community engagement. We maintain strong partnerships with local organizations, including our recent collaboration with Christ Community Church for Vacation Bible School. Our facilities host regular events that foster spiritual growth and community connection, reflecting our core value of 'God's Love. Our Service.'
