Welcome to Redeemer Lutheran Church
Redeemer Lutheran Church has served the Olathe, Kansas community since 1960, rooted in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod tradition. Founded under the guidance of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Kansas District Board of Missions, our congregation began with 14 lots purchased at Dennis Avenue and Alta Lane. Reverend Warren Naegele established the church in 1961, holding its first service at Central Grade School before growing to 82 charter members within a year. Our permanent facility, completed in phases starting in 1964, now includes a sanctuary, fellowship hall, educational spaces, and the Redeemer Lutheran Preschool. We prioritize worship, education, and outreach through weekly services, Bible studies, Vacation Bible School, and community service initiatives.

Our Deaf Ministry ensures accessibility with American Sign Language interpretation during Sunday services. The preschool, operational since 2006, nurtures children academically, socially, and spiritually. Affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we uphold theological integrity while fostering local and regional partnerships. Our mission remains to make disciples of Jesus Christ by reaching out to those unfamiliar with Him and strengthening existing believers. We invite all individuals, whether new to the area or seeking spiritual connection, to join our welcoming faith community.
