Professional Pilot Training
Our ab initio programs transform zero-experience students into commercial pilots through structured FAA Part 141 curriculum. With 16-week accelerated tracks, students complete private pilot, instrument, and commercial licenses using modern Cessna and Piper aircraft. Daily dual instruction, simulator training, and solo cross-country flights build 250+ hours of flight experience while maintaining 95% on-time graduation rates.
Flight Simulator Training
The Redbird FMX full-motion simulator provides realistic instrument training with wrap-around visuals and scenario-based exercises. This FAA-approved device allows cost-effective practice of emergency procedures, instrument approaches, and cockpit resource management without aircraft operating costs. Students receive 14-29 hours of simulator training depending on certification level.
International Student Program
We support M-1 visa applicants with TSA-approved training programs and I-20 form issuance. The curriculum includes TOEFL proficiency requirements and cultural integration support. International students receive housing assistance and specialized scheduling to complete commercial pilot certifications within 16 weeks while complying with federal immigration regulations.
Flight Instructor Certification
Our 4-week certificated flight instructor (CFI) program prepares graduates to teach primary pilots while building hours toward airline requirements. The curriculum includes 10 hours dual instruction, 40 hours ground school, and practical test preparation. Graduates qualify to instruct in single-engine aircraft while accumulating the 1,500 hours required for airline transport pilot certification.
Multi-Engine Rating
The 1-week multi-engine add-on course trains pilots to operate Piper Aztec twin-engine aircraft. This program includes 6 hours dual flight time, 4 hours in multi-engine simulator, and 5 hours ground school. The rating allows commercial operation of multi-engine aircraft and prepares pilots for regional airline hiring requirements through complex aircraft experience.

Report
Best flight school out there period. You will have a hard time finding a better program due to their more than reasonable prices and the accelerated pace they allow you to move at. I came to Florida Aviation Academy with only a Private Pilot Certificate and within 3 months of continuous, and in depth flight training I had earned my Instrument Rating, Commercial Single Engine and Commercial Multi-Engine Licenses.
Now I am working on my CFI and am expecting to be done with it in about a month. The school is very accommodating to life and personal needs and are willing to work with you if anything comes up. The school will also work with you to keep your costs down as much as possible which separates them from other flight programs I have encountered in the past. The chief flight instructor, Jack, is one of the most accomplished pilots I have ever met and has a fountain of knowledge he is eagerly waiting to share with every student that walks through the doors.
The culture here is fantastic due to it professional and family like environment. Instructors are always available for help and are more than happy to sit down and thoroughly explain answers to whatever questions you may have. If you come to this school and apply yourself, it will be the best choice you will ever make for your future in aviation.
