All kindergarten applicants for the 2010-2011 school year, will be notified of their enrollment status (accepted or waiting list) by postcard sometime during the week of March first. Classical Concert with French Musicians, Guillaume Latour (violin) Academie Lafayette is a total French language immersion school that cultivates student achievement, positive attitudes, and self-control. Our goal is to bring together a diverse community of students and an international teaching team to evolve critical thinkers.

read moreI've been the Head of School for Acadmie Lafayette since the 2012-2013 school year. During that time we have successfully opened a second and third campus, added a third language for our middle school students, conducted a major Capital Campaign, built a six-classroom addition at our Cherry campus and replaced our aging heating system at the Oak campus. We implemented the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme for our middle school, built a secure entry and office addition for the Oak campus, and we opened a high school beginning fall 2020.

read moreAs we recognize our 20th anniversary as a public charter school in Kansas City, Missouri, AL is also poised to realize our years-long dream of opening a high school. With the 2020 addition of Acadmie Lafayette International High School, our system will now serve students on three campuses: grades K-4 at the Cherry campus, grades K-5 at the Oak campus, and grades 6-8 and 9 at the Armour campus. Our youngest students attend one of two elementary facilities: The Oak campus in Brookside, or the Cherry campus in Midtown.
