Albany Academy

read moreIn 2007, two historic Albany schools, The Albany Academy and Albany Academy for Girls merged to form The Albany Academies. The two schools, each 200 years old have retained their separate identities and traditions. Students continue to receive a diploma from either AAG or AA. Together, however, the two schools have created an extraordinarily effective educational model: ten grades of single-gender education, followed by two final years of coeducational classes and co-curricular activities. As members of the Academy community, we acknowledge that our individual actions and attitudes affect the wellbeing of others as well as the school as a whole.
