At the time of this writing, I have officially been The Priscilla Payne Hurd President & CEO of the Allentown Art Museum for a little over two weeks. I'm truly honored and feel privileged to have been appointed to such a distinguished and responsible position. The Allentown Art Museum is a highly regarded art museum nationally and a much loved and venerated institution locally and regionally. I bring to the art museum over 40 years of museum and art history experience from teaching at the university level to curatorial and administrative posts in both the US and Canada.

read moreVisitors are encouraged to reserve timed tickets and must wear an appropriate face covering to gain entry. Reserved tickets allows for a two-hour visit. If you are not feeling well, please visit another day. Kress Society and members are invited to view Portrait of a Young Womanduring exclusive viewing hours on February 6, April 3, March 6, and May 1, 11am-1pm. As excited as we are to see you back in the galleries, we will continue to offer a robust schedule of online activities and programing via #AAMatHOME for the convenience and consideration of those who can't make it in to the Museum right away, and for those who want to continue their engagement with art (and the Museum!) 24/7.
