Only 45-minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport, with daily nonstop flights from more than 60 cities, you can take a morning flight from either coast and be skiing by the afternoon. We can arrange for your transportation to the lodge through an independent van service, Alta Shuttle. Vans are available from the airport at 8:00 a.m. until 1:00a.m. They depart approximately every thirty minutes and cost $40.00 per person. There is little need for an automobile in Alta.

During the Holiday Seasons (December 18, 2020 - January 2, 2021; January 15-17; and February 12-18, 2021), the Rustler Lodge provides a supervised children's program from 5:45 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A special "kids only" dinner is served prior to the activities. Children 5 and up are welcome to join in the fun! The Alta's Children's Center is a full-service childcare facility located at the Albion Base Area.

read moreAll other cancellations (regardless of the reason) will forfeit full payment, unless we are able to refill the entire space. Guests are responsible for all nights reserved and will be charged for all changes. Due to the nature and size of our property, it is necessary to strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. Check-in is at 4:00pm and check out is at NOON. If you arriving before 4:00pm or departing later than NOON, your luggage can be stored in our luggage room. If you want to ski past the NOON check-out time, you are more than welcome to shower and change in our facilities.
