read morePresently our professional team consists of Leesa Maldonado, DVM (owner and primary doctor). Dr. Maldonado graduated from Texas A&M in 1993. Her career started in a mixed animal practice not far from San Antonio until the opportunity came to have her own practice. Since then, she has managed and practiced at Assure Vet Animal Hospital, growing it from a double wide mobile home to a new state of the art practice it is today. Donna (head receptionist and problem solver), Donna has been with this hospital since its conception 19 years ago and was the person who encouraged me to strike out on my own and begin Assure Vet Animal Hospital.
