San Mateo natives and friends, Eleni Lolas and Alicia Petrakis opened Astaria Catering in 1995. With eight successful years as caterers, their passion for people, food and entertaining grew into Astaria Restaurant and Bar. New guests should not be surprised to see one or both of them on the restaurant floor as they are deeply involved in daily operations. Each member of the management staff was handpicked to advance their idea of passion.
