Auburn Community Theatre
Theaters & Cinemas in Topeka, KS
In the summer of 2007 a few people were discussing a desire to do something unique as a fundraiser for the Auburn Community Center. Out of that discussion, came the decision to do a family show on the center's stage in what ACT now affectionately calls the gymnatorium. Since there was no money for royalties, current artistic manager, Bert Miller, wrote a kids's play with hysterical adult overtones called The Gingerbread Inn. The show was a delightful candy colored set with fluffy costumes made from thrift store sheets and curtains.
