Bakersfield Memorial Hospital

Bakersfield Memorial Hospital has undergone a huge transformation since its opening in 1956. Once a tiny community hospital, BMH is now a regional medical center providing nationally-recognized departments and services. We are especially proud of our cardiovascular program, the Family Care Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and our surgical services in orthopedics, neurosurgery and general surgery. Today, our 406-bed facility serves patients throughout Kern County and beyond.
