Bandido's
Restaurant in Fort Wayne, IN
Over 25 years ago Jim Schindler opened the 1st Bandido's Restaurant on Winchester Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Armino Cortez, a Mexican chef, originally created all of our authentic Mexican recipes that we still prepare fresh daily in our kitchens. Soon after, our 2nd Bandido's opened in the Northcrest Shopping Center followed by one in the Georgetown Square shopping center, both in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Bandido's continued to expand with our 4th store opening in Lima, Ohio, number five in Portland, Indiana and our 6th location off of I-69 on Dupont Road in Fort Wayne.

Our salads are all made with hand-cut romaine lettuce, rather than the bagged lettuce many restaurants use, and we hand-chop our pico de gallo throughout the day. At Bandidos, you won't find any canned beans or processed cheese dip. We slow-cook our pinto beans from scratch every single day and we make our queso dips using real cheese from midwest farms.
