In 1994 Beaches started as home based firm, marketing and selling tanning products to salons in Montana and Wyoming. In 1996 Beaches added hair care and miscellaneous sundries to their product mix with Lanza being their #1 line. To facilitate the increased growth Beaches moved their operations to a warehouse/ office location in Billings, Montana. In 2000 Redken was added to the product mix and an outlet store was opened in Missoula, to better serve its growing client base in western Montana.
