June Heimsoth was born in Colorado Springs and raised on a dairy farm E of Falcon, Colorado. Her art career started when she won a Big John and Sparkey dog drawing contest at age five. June started painting in earnest in 1998 and has produced over 200 paintings since. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Colorado State Fair, Pikes Peak Center, Colorado Springs Airport, U. S. Olympic Center's Hall of Fame, and the Parade of Homes. Her paintings are in private collections across the US.
